Our guest is Eric Simanek, PhD, TCU Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry and a temple member. Dr. Simanek has been fascinated by the story of whiskey including its production and the politics of its early sale in America.

About the event

He has just completed his second book, “The Whiskey Thieves,” and will speak about the role of Jews in the early days of American whiskey production as well as the research that went into the writing of this novel.   Boxed Lunches from Panera - $10, will come with chips and a chocolate chip cookie.  Bring your own lunch at no cost.  Drinks will be provided.  Please RSVP by 5/10 to reserve lunch.
