Beth-El History

Archives volunteers gather on Wednesdays in Beth-El’s library and Tuesdays at Ahavath Sholom. Join us as we plan exhibits, identify people and places in old photos, scan vintage pictures, pour over handwritten minutes, and organize materials from groups such as Hadassah, Jewish War Veterans, and B’nai B’rith.

Our archives was among the earliest partners contributing to UNT’s Portal to Texas History. We are a member of the Metroplex Archivists Association, the Society of Southwest Archivists, and TARO – Texas Archival Resources Online. Whether you are scholarly, artistic or both, we’ll find an important project to interest and challenge you.
