choirBRAD VOLK
Brad has been organist/music director at Beth-El Congregation in Fort Worth since 2001. He also serves as organist/choirmaster at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Breckenridge, Texas. Before joining us at Beth-El, Mr. Volk served as organist at churches in Rapid City, SD and Arlington, Texas. In addition, Brad has served a tour of duty in the Air Force Band and played piano professionally in many venues. He holds a Colleague Certification from the American Guild of Organists and is presently Dean of the Guild’s Fort Worth Chapter. Brad’s organ studies were with Mr. Emmet Smith, Herndon Professor of Music, Emeritus, TCU.

RON BLACKMON
Ron has been in the Beth-El Choir since 1996. He holds a degree in Vocal Performance from The University of Texas at Arlington. When he was a freshman in college, he was chosen as the NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing) Overall Outstanding Singer in his division. He has participated in over 30 different operas with the Fort Worth Opera Chorus. He also sang with the Vocal Majority and currently sings with the Schola at St. Mark's School of Texas in Dallas and also with Prosper United Methodist Church. He and His wife, Carole have 2 children. Tyler age 5 and Rebecca age 4.
