Greene Family Camp

Since 1976, Greene Family Camp has served all of the Reform congregations of Texas and Oklahoma. It provides an unforgettable religious, cultural, recreational, and emotional experience for people of all ages.

It is the goal of Greene Family Camp for each person to grow while at camp, not only sharpening skills brought to camp, but introducing new areas to learn and master. They also try to balance “physical” and “intellectual” activities. The Camp schedule is set up to require certain amounts of exercise and outdoor time each day. Campers being offered electives are encouraged to sign up for a selection of different kinds of activities. The daily schedule reflects this attempt at balanced programming. Campers are organized into units by age groups. Each unit has its own daily schedule, which includes a number of activities, both “physical” and “intellectual”, resulting in fun and busy days and nights. As campers progress through the units, they are given more and more choices in the selection of their daily activities.
