Scott Sloter Scott, a Texas native, was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. His family was a member of Temple Beth El in San Antonio. Scott was consecrated, had his bar mitzvah and was confirmed at Temple Beth El. Scott was very involved in the youth groups from 6th-12th grade. Scott served as historian, treasurer, and president of SAFTY, the senior high youth group at Temple Beth El. As well as attending religious school, Scott attended public schools and graduated in 1985. He continued his education at Texas A&M University in College Station, TX, and graduated in December of 1989. Scott moved to Ft. Worth to work for Lockheed Martin Aeronautics (formerly General Dynamics), where he is the Chief Software Architect on his current project. Scott became involved at Beth El Congregation in Ft. Worth in the late 1990s. Since 2000, Scott has been the advisor of the Fort Worth Federation of Temple Youth (FWFTY), the senior high school youth group at Beth El. In 2004, Scott took up guitar and was recruited to lead t’fillah for the religious school at Beth El. Scott is also involved with the Texas A&M Alumni Association in Ft. Worth, serving as the website administrator for the Club.
